Middleton Newsletter Team 2025
The Secondary Years newsletter team comprises Elliot, Mishika, Serena, Zara, Myra, Riya, Dana, Elsie, Olivia and Jessica, a group of enthusiastic students who are passionate about storytelling and communication. Through their writing, they aim to inspire, inform, and strengthen connections within the Middleton community, while developing their leadership skills and creative expression.
At Middleton, every day is designed with intention and purpose, creating meaningful learning experiences for students. Behind the seamless rhythm of lessons and school routines is a team of dedicated staff who ensure that students and educators can focus fully on learning and growth.
To celebrate the people, stories, and moments that shape life at Middleton, our Secondary Years students have created a newsletter series, People Behind Middleton. This student-led initiative is a platform to explore storytelling, share real-life insights and highlight the staff whose work supports a purposeful and thriving school community.
Meet Miss Rozalindah
Ever wondered who keeps Middleton running smoothly, or who sends those early morning emails? Meet Miss Rozalindah, our Admin and Operations Manager, who has been with Middleton for two years. From managing absent teachers to coordinating daily operations, she ensures everything is in place so that learning unfolds seamlessly each day.
1. How long have you been working at Middleton?
I have been here for two years, exactly this August 2025.
2. What do you do here at Middleton?
I am the Admin and Operations Manager, handling all of the school’s administrative and operational work.
3. How do you like to spend your morning?
On weekdays, I wake up as early as 6 AM to check emails and start on relief planning. Relief planning means finding cover teachers when someone is on leave.
By 7:30 AM, I send out the daily email to all Middleton Tampines staff with the absence list and important announcements. I also send my children to school during this time.
4. What’s your most memorable moment at Middleton?
When I received the Colour of Passion Award in 2024.

5. Did you have any jobs before Middleton?
Yes, I worked in another private school for 13 years as an Admin Manager.
6. If you had one superpower to help with your job, what would it be?
I’d love to have the powers of The Flash - to get everything done in a split second and always on time!
7. Do you have any hobbies outside of school?
I love to sing and draw.
Behind the scenes, Miss Rozalindah is truly our Admin Supreme, ensuring every detail falls into place so our school community can thrive. The next time you see her around campus, you’ll know just how much heart and dedication go into the smooth running of Middleton every single day.
